Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on Manasses Henry solid wood furniture under normal residential use. When we determine a concern is a manufacturer defect within the warranty terms, we’ll make it right. That may mean coordinating a trusted local repair professional, or arranging a white-glove carrier to return the piece to our shop for repair and return.
Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, dings, spills, finish changes from use, misuse, neglect, abuse, extreme heat or cold, humidity issues, improper storage or handling after delivery, or damage caused by the way the piece is used in the home.
If the issue is not covered, we can still help you think through repair options, logistics, or care guidance with costs covered by the customer.
We can sometimes build from lumber supplied by a customer, but we cannot know how that wood was stored, dried, or handled before it arrived at our shop. Because the moisture history and movement risk are unknown, pieces built from customer-supplied lumber are not eligible for the lifetime warranty.
We still assess the wood carefully and build with the same standard of care, but the warranty terms change for those pieces.
